The ideal candidate will possess a degree in finance or eco-nomics, have documented IT skills and an extensive experi-ence working in both fields, preferably in a similar, fast-paced environment. As part of a small in-house team, you will be responsible for providing all-round support for our Equity & Credit Research teams across the four Nordic countries.

The position we offer
Nordea is the no. 1 ranked broker on equity research across the Nordic region. Our team of around 60 analysts in all four Nordic countries provides research on close to 400 Nordic companies on both the equity (stocks) and credit sides (bonds) to institutional and private investors alike. Equity & Credit Research Production is responsible for developing and maintaining the IT systems used in the creation and distribu-tion of our equity and credit research, as well as providing general support for other systems within Nordea Equities.

The successful candidate will join a very small team that liais-es with our analysts and sales and events teams across all four countries as well as our IT developers and a team of edi-tors and freelancers. The position demands a high level of flexibility, including working late evenings and/or on weekends and public holidays, where required. Fluency in English and Swedish required. Knowledge of other Nordic languages beneficial.

Responsibilities:
Providing support and administration for IT systems used by our analysts, sales team and clients
Monitoring and supporting production flow with our editing department
Testing new versions of in-house built systems
Requesting, communicating with and testing new system functionality with external consultants
Documenting and following up on system changes
Providing ad-hoc reports and creating standard reports by collecting data from various sources
Office development (including VBA programming)
User training
Technical trouble-shooting of systems

The qualifications you need

Academic
M.Sc. in Economics or Finance

Systems/programming
Good MS Office skills, especially in Excel
Good database skills (Oracle and MS SQL)
Good programming skills, including VBA
CRM knowledge is a plus (MS CRM)

Experience
Longer experience working either in an Equity/Credit research environment or within Asset Management
Longer experience working with IT systems, and enhancing systems and workflows, including writing code.
Previous user support experience
Accustomed to finding data and creating reports in a timely fashion
