System Engineer New Development

Position description:

As a SW developer Embedded Telematics Applications, you will participate to develop the next generation telematics system. Together with our hardware supplier, you will participate to develop application level embedded software.

The platform will be Linux based and programming language will be C and or C++, including all development environments and tools needed to build the Electronics Control Unit (ECU) software.

Agile will be the way to work and you will be part of a scrum team, located in Gothenburg.

This position will give you a broad contact network and possibility to influence the technical development and way of working.

Main responsibility:

· SW development within the embedded telematics applications team
· Requirement analysis
· Agile team participation and process improvement

Skills and required experience:

Required qualifications:

· M.Sc/A degree in Software engineering design
· More than 5 years’ experience of C and C++ development
· Experience from developing on embedded Linux platform
· Object oriented design
· Agile SW development
· Fluent in English (written and spoken)
· Driver’s license (B-level)

Meritorious qualifications:

· Knowledge of software develoment within communication technologies such as WiFi, BLE, Cellular and Ethernet
· Knowledge of device driver implementation on Linux.
· Software Architecture, development and requirement handling within electrical and/or software projects
· Validation and integration
· Software product line architecture and configuration management
· Experience from working in an international environment
· Automotive and Infotainment experience
· Experience from working in a highly networked organisation developing software together with suppliers
