Group IT is located in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We are 1400 employees responsible for running the bank, developing and maintening business strategic and central systems in Swedbank.

All development is managed in projects and we deliver approximately 600 projects and pre-studies during a business year.

Assignment specification

The Delivery Department Cards within Group Product Division at IT Application and Maintenance is responsible for the development and maintenance of software related to Cards Issuing and Acquiring. Product agreements and Cards flows are stored and executed in z/OS environment. Cards department is part of IT Services organization within Group Products. We operate in a very fast moving environment in tight cooperation with our internal customers in Business Area Group Products. This area is characterized by high business demands, speed, a continuous efficient development, security and maintenance with very high quality.

GSS (General Security Service) is an encapsulation system for z/OS cryptographic subsystem ICSF and HSM (Crypto Express). GSS has a dependency to our sub-service “IBM HSM” (z/OS cryptographic subsystem ICSF and HSM).
GSS provides a function oriented interface for cryptographic functions for data encryption, MAC, PIN, CVV, UKPT etc.

You will be responsible, with the support of our architects, for creating the best possible system solutions based on projects and Swedbank's objectives. You formulate the design of IT solutions from business requirements and established rules and guidelines, taking into account system as a whole, relations with other systems, infrastructure, technologies etc.

To succeed in this role you have several years of experience as a developer and maintenance in the area of z/OS mainframe with experience or deep interest in ICSF / cryptographic area. You need to be a reliable person with a strong drive. You are a team player with an analytical mind and attention to detail. You enjoy growing by taking on new and different tasks outside your comfort zone.

Sharing your knowledge with colleagues comes naturally to you as much as learning from others in the team. You are a good communicator and able to work well with individuals at all levels. Flexible and open to taking on different roles in the team in combination with your main area of responsibility.

You have experience from TSO/ISPF, ChangeMan, IMS/DB2 database, COBOL, fault Analyzer and DMR.

Knowledge of Cards Issuing and or Acquiring area is a plus. We are looking for a solution oriented team player who lives the Swedbank values (Simple, Open and Caring) and brings energy to the team.

Good knowledge in both written and spoken English is required, as our working language is English.
