DevOps Engineer to Leading Ecommerce Platform

Our vision is to be the leading innovator of commerce for global brands, and over the past couple of years we at Young/Skilled have built an innovative SaaS platform, Centra, serving sophisticated ecommerce functionality to brands like Nudie Jeans, Odd Molly, Lexington, Triwa, WeSC, Neonode, Teenage Engineering plus 60 more brands.

We hope you'll agree with us that we have only just scratched the surface of what is yet to come in commerce, and we are now looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to build a world-class production environment and help propel Centra into the global arena.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A DEVOPS WHO WANTS TO:

* Lead the transformation of a homegrown production environment of 100+ virtual servers into a consolidated and automated world-class cloud environment
* Think holistically about delivering value by helping us improve all layers of our stack
* Take charge of building out our new environment based on Heroku and Amazon AWS
* Standardize, automate, and migrate our current Ubuntu environment on Digital Ocean
* Make metrics, graphs, performance and monitoring an integral part of our infrastructure and applications
* Actively participate and work with our developers in the planning, design, implementation and delivery of our applications -- including working on the PHP code once in a while
* Stay current in their fields through researching new technologies, participating in communities, etc.

* PHP v5.3+ and some Node.js
* MariaDB / MySQL, Nginx
* Heroku, Amazon AWS (EC2, S3, CF, RDS, SES, SQS), Digital Ocean
* Terraform, Ansible, Ubuntu, Bash
* Git and Github
* The usual suspects; HTML5, CSS, Sass and JavaScript
* REST and SOAP (it's not our fault... really) based API's
