Role Summary/Purpose
The Web Content Manager is responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating content for the Life Sciences web sites. The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders such as writers and product marketing managers to acquire relevant content for publishing. The role reports to the Content Marketing Leader.
Essential Responsibilities
Key responsibilities/essential functions include:
Input of new and revised web content into the content management system; enforcing style and branding guidelines to ensure consistent presentation.
Collaborate with Web writers, Marketing writers, Digital team members, and Product marketing to ensure relevancy and quality of content.
Participate in quality testing of website changes and new web tools.
Support regional colleagues involved in content management.
Assist in training and education of content management tools and ensure adherence to our web standards and best practices.
Promote awareness of the value of digital marketing and the importance of good web practices throughout the business organization.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent required.
Minimum several years of relevant working experience (marketing communication, web or similar). Proven experience in managing web content.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, initiative.
Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple functions/stakeholders.
Fluent in oral and written English.

Desired Characteristics
Experience using Content management systems such as Vignette and/or SiteCore.
Knowledge in the Life Sciences industry.
Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with graphic-related software (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or animation software.
Basic knowledge of HTML/XML/CSS.
