Hypergene AB is a product company with offices in Malmö, Stockholm, Göteborg and Kalmar. We deliver software solutions for decision support and we have more than 100 employees working with everything from product development through consulting to customer support.
Hypergene, the product, is a complete IT platform for building solutions that helps decision makers plan, implement and follow up on operations. Hypergene is used by many well known companies and organizations in Sweden, such as TV4, Expressen, Svenska Spel, Lund University, Göteborgs stad and Stockholms läns landsting. Also, more than 50 Swedish municipalities work with Hypergene.
You will work as a developer/programmer at the R&D department, where you will play an important part in developing future versions of Hypergene’s platform for decision support. You will work together with our other developers in a small, tightly knit team with a strong team spirit and high competency where everybody is passionate about delivering the most efficient, easy to use and beautiful platform for decision making support on the market.
You will help taking responsibility for all steps in the development process - from ideation to developing the product. Our R&D department is staffed by experienced developers, quality assurance and documentation specialists and product owners. In your work, you will be in contact with Hypergene’s consultancy department, responsible for implementing and adapting the product to our customer’s needs. You will have a big influence over your own job and great opportunities to develop your profession .
Technical platform
Hypergene is a web based application that runs on both Windows and Linux with either SQL Server or PostgreSQL as the database.

- JavaScript (Backbone)
We often use Open Source software in all parts of our product and we use JIRA for planning our work and TeamCity for Continuous Integration.
We are looking for an energetic developer with a passion for programming and problem solving. You probably have a Master of Science or Computer Science degree and experience with Python and JavaScript. Experience in modern C\++ and databases is a bonus.
You are a person who pays attention to details and like finishing what you start. You understand the importance of solving problems thoroughly and not just as quickly as possible. It is important for you that what you deliver is of a very high quality.
