System Requirement Analyst/Lead

Xylem are now expanding its capacity within embedded systems development to meet the future requirements from the changing process equipment landscape were the solutions gets more and more software based and our products more and more intelligent.

We are now seeking an experienced System Requirements Analyst with at least 7 years of experience within embedded systems to support the system engineering and the development activities of the development teams. The analyst's primary responsibilities are to elicit, analyse, and document system functional and non-functional requirements, and to maintain documentation as systems evolve. You will work directly with developers and testers in an agile environment to ensure development of system capabilities are consistent with stakeholders' requirements. You will be part of a growing team and a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:
· Perform business and systems analysis to define detailed functional, operational and technical requirements for implementation
· Utilize requirements elicitation techniques to elicit business requirements from system stakeholders
· Define, document, maintain and manage system requirements
· Communicate requirements to SW developers and testers
· Provide estimates for requirements analysis work and assist in project planning
· Set up, participate/lead requirements review meetings, backlog refinement sessions and sprint planning sessions (Scrum)
· Participate in, facilitate, or lead JAD (Joint Application Design) sessions and other collaborative sessions with users and product owner/manager
· Maintain requirements traceability and other requirements management documentation following agile principles
· Monitor development and testing activities to confirm correct implementation of requirements.

Required Skills:
· Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of 7 years working in the Information Technology field directly as a System Requirements Analyst/Lead
· At least 7 years' experience eliciting system requirements using standard techniques such as surveys/questionnaires, interviews, user groups, and other techniques
· At least 7 years' experience documenting system requirements in the form of User Stories, Use Cases, UML diagrams and other graphical representations (e.g., work flows)
· Experience managing requirements and conducting requirements analysis in an Agile environment
· At least 2 years as a function/feature owner in an Agile environment
· Proficiency, experience, and technical knowledge of SW/System development
· Prior experience working with testers and developers to implement requirements
· Proficiency with Agile tools such as JIRA
· Proficiency with ALM or Requirement Traceability tools such as Integrity, Doors, etc.

Professional Skills:
· Must have excellent written and oral communications skills
· Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed team environment, with a client-centric culture, and an environment of high performers
· Must be able to multi-task and shift priorities as needed
· Must be able to work effectively with numerous stakeholder types and bring a group to consensus
