Data Scientists at Klarna build models for our real time credit underwriting systems to ensure we make the right decisions for millions of users.
As a Data Scientist, you'll work in a small team to build and execute risk data models as part of our real time credit underwriting systems. You'll store these models in our risk variable library and validate the models being computed. You'll be analysing the occurrence of events across different time periods and geographical locations, aiming to find patterns and trends in huge transactional data sets; essentially customer profiling.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have at least a few years experience of building data models in the real world, with a strong interest in data science; we hope that concepts such as predictive modeling and machine learning will excite you. You?ll need a Master's degree in Mathematics, Economics or something similar, as well as the ability to write code (we mostly code in Python within this team).
