Senior Java Developer

TopSkill Sweden is currently recruiting a number of Senior Software Engineers to join a fast growing company as they embark upon a series of innovative digital projects. Working in a fast paced environment you will be part of a team providing top of the range software and mentoring junior developers to help them realize their potential. You will be given the chance to influence the scope and technical direction of these projects.

About the role:

You will be involved in a broad range of projects as well as ensure the delivery and improvement of existing products. You should be adaptable and responsive to change in this rapidly moving environment and maintain a culture of excellence through knowledge sharing, code review and pair programming.

You will stay up to speed with emerging technologies which could be introduced to improve and update the current process and constantly be looking for fresh solutions.

About you:

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

Exposure to professional Java development, as well as major frameworks and server containers such as Spring, Tomcat and JBoss
A strong grasp of Agile development methodologies and a familiarity with TDD, automation and Continuous Integration
Development of RESTful JSON web services, MVC frameworks and JSP
Occasion when you have been involved in the delivery of complex technical projects
Mentoring capabilities
Excellent communication skills
