Role Summary/Purpose:
GE Healthcare Life Sciences in Uppsala develops and markets various types of instrumentation for the separation and analysis of proteins. We can offer you a master thesis project which well help us to evaluate and design an improved system to track and manage the use of chromatography columns in the UNICORN? software. A high focus will be placed on the User Experience and Interaction design of the solution.
Essential Responsibilities:
The thesis includes the following components:
Graphical and User Experience design of a column handling module in the UNICORN? software in the form of wire frames.
User research and evaluation of the technical feasibility of new features in the software.
Report in English.
Qualifications/Requirements.
M.Sc. in Computer Science or similar, with knowledge/interest in GUI developmendevelopment and user interface design.
Communication and presentation skills in English.
