SAP Development Lead

Group Business Transformation is a new Group Staff Unit containing Group IT, Group Demand Chain and the UNITE Program. The key task of the unit is to prepare and manage a transformation in SKF over the coming 5-10 years including changing the current Legacy systems and the way of working. The UNITE program aims to standardize SKF:s business processes globally and to implement them through a common UNITE system. The program is one of the largest changes ever undertaken by SKF.

To manage the coming challenges within the UNITE program, Group Business Transformation are looking for a;

SAP Development Lead, within UNITE you will be responsible for leading the WRICEF development of our end to end solution. You will also support the design, planning and setup of the development architecture for the SKF Global SAP landscape.

Key tasks
As a Development lead, you will manage all WRICEF development to ensure timely project deliverables and at the same time ensuring the delivered quality and handle the development resource planning and allocation, mainly from our vendors, both on site and off-shore.
You govern the ongoing development based on agreed principles and concepts to secure best practice architecture for implementing SAP solutions at SKF throughout the UNITE programme lifecycle.
With your deep understanding and knowledge of development you also continuously develop, manage and maintain end-to-end development documentation standards and proactively support the work to always leverage on standard functionality, ensuring that enhancements are kept to a minimum.
In the team, you will support the work to optimize the global/local portfolio of Global SAP Solutions (functionality, quality and availability).

Your profile
- 10+ years of experience in SAP development, customizing, solution design and integration.
- In depth expertise in SAP development with significant hand-on experience of ABAP/Java development.
- In depth knowledge of SAP Netweaver Development Infrastructure (NWDI).
- In depth knowledge of development related to SAP enterprise service oriented architecture, including hands-on experience.
- In-depth understanding of SAP landscape and process architecture.
- In-depth understanding of the SAP application portfolio.
- Experience with multiple large scale SAP implementations in global environments including managing on- and off-shore development teams.
- Experience in large SAP projects that replace legacy systems and implement SAP standard best practices.
- End-to-end process mindset ? bridging between solution areas and application to integration with standard/best practice as guiding principles.
- Good understanding of IT and emerging technologies.
- Capable of grasping complex IT issues and understanding how they relate to a business environment.
- Experience with multiple hardware, OS and DB platforms.
- Experience of internal/external audit requirements and collaboration with auditors.
- Preferably experience with IT security including also non-SAP user and access provisioning.
- Preferably SAP operations experience
