Front-end developer (Angular)

We manage billions of data points and provide the world?s most comprehensive infrastructure for collecting and distributing energy data. Real estates, industries and utilities save energy by using services they already love -- while we automatically extract data from energy bills, utility web-sites and smart-meters.

GROW WITH US
We are now expanding in Europe and look for a front-end developer to join our growing team in Gothenburg. Your main responsibility will be to implement UX-features and surprise our users with great details that make energy data collection efficient, convenient and a peace-of-mind experience. You will also be working with the On-boarding experience and managing our Javascript SDKs.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage the User portal which is the web app for our customers
* Manage our internal portal that is used by Dev Ops, Support and Sales.
* Manage, document and write Javascript SDKs
* Be part of planning and architecture decisions regarding cloud infrastructure and API-design.
* Help our customers with support questions about the API and data collection
* Pet-projects: Play around with the API and IFTTT to demonstrate and inspire how Metry can be connected to smart lights and web services

We think you love APIs and enjoy using open source libraries as well contributing back to the community. You think that the devil is in the details and you are triggered by using new technology. You hate administration and love rationalizing boring tasks.

While extensive professional experience is definitely a positive thing, we focus on your personal commitment and ability to learn. We think you are active in the programming community and have finalized a number of personal, as well as community driven projects.

MUST HAVES
* Expert in Angular and modern Javascript development (NPM, CommonJS)
* Expert in responsive layouts and the interaction between CSS and HTML
* Awareness of DOM & CSS rendering performance

NICE TO HAVES
* Familiar with test suites Karma and Jasmine
* Familiar with Coffee-script, Jade, Brunch (legacy code)
* Active in the programming community and have finalized a number of personal, as well as community driven projects
* Proficiency Swedish
