Hadoop administrator

We are currently looking for an experienced Hadoop administrator to join our team in Stockholm.

Ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, operation and maintenance of the Hadoop platform based on Hortonworks. You will work with the Linux technicians within Infrastructure services to optimize operation stability and platform performance. You will also be part of a team that takes overall responsibility for infrastructure deliveries and work in close dialogue with other developer groups.

Responsibilities
- Implementation of the Hadoop platform based on Hortonworks
- Hadoop cluster administration (installation, configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting etc)
- Monitoring and review of logs
- Performance tuning
- Knowledge transferring to our team

Required skills
- Experience in Hadoop architecture and setting up of Hadoop clusters
- Experience in Hadoop cluster administration
- Experience in the administration of Hortonworks using Ambari admin console
- Experience in HDFS, Hue, Hive, Sqoop, Flume and Yarn, HBase and Map reduce, OOZIE
- Implementation of security in Hadoop cluster (Knox and Ranger)
- Good knowledge of Linux environments, storage and big data
- Experience on Linux Shell Scripting and HDFS
- Good knowledge on Agile methodology
