Software Development Lead - Data Management

This role will be responsible for the integration and delivery of connector software developed by our offshore development partner, Altoros with development centers in Belarus and Argentina. This software enables our products to access data from various source systems including Enterprise systems (e.g. SAP), SAAS applications (e.g. Salesforce.com), 'big data' systems (e.g. Hadoop), 'no sql' databases (Mongo), traditional RDBMS (eg. Oracle), and various file sources (e.g. XML). This individual should have strong technical experience with data connectivity, strong experience with offshore teams' with Russian and English language skills, project leadership and Agile experience.

Education Requirement
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is MANDATORY.

Required Skills and Experience

- Minimum 8 years of experience working on commercial software.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a hands-on developer or tester.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as the recognized technical leader of a software development team.
- Agile practices 'in the small' (e.g. SCRUM) and 'in the large' (e.g. SAFE).
- Experience with distributed remote teams and offshore development is essential.
- Domain and technical experience in the area of databases, data formats and protocols, and data access technologies is essential and evidenced by experience with data and integration technologies/APIs such as ODBC, JDBC, ADO.Net, REST, XML, JSON, RDBMS, etc..
- Technical experience with QlikView connector technologies (e.g. QVX) is strongly preferred.
- Solid background with commercial software processes including requirements analysis, design specification, peer review, build and release, QA and test processes, task estimation, code reviews, code maintenance and support.
- Strong English and Belarussian/Russian communication skills are essential.
