Software Engineer, Nordea, Stockholm

Digital Banking, Solutions & IT, in Nordea is looking for full-stack software engineers with strong experience in development, integration and implementation of digital services.

You will work with developing and integrating digital services and solutions, ensuring we provide high quality, exciting and valuable experiences to customers.

The position is located in Stockholm.

The qualifications you need

You have passionate commercial experience as a software engineer and substantial experience in software development.

You have a higher education, preferably a Master's degree in IT. Extensive experience as a developer can compensate for lack of formal education. You have excellent understanding of technologies and design patterns and solid experience in developing loosely coupled applications of high quality and testability. The role will requires broad knowledge combined with deep expertise in some particular areas. You have professional written and oral communication skills in English. Fluent in Danish or one of the other Scandinavian languages is a preference.

Your professional qualifications:
-Understanding of and experience with agile methodologies.
-Understanding of and experience with lean and continuous improvements.
-Solid knowledge of Modern Java(8 and relevant frameworks) or another object oriented language such as C#(6)
-Knowledge on Microservice architecture style.
-Experience on developing RESTful API services.
-Good experience with Play, Scalatra, Spring Boot or similar API frameworks(WebAPI, etc.).
-JavaScript experience including JavaScript libraries/frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, ReactJS, JQuery, lodash, Underscore).
-Experience with HTML and CSS including Sass and/or Less.
-Understanding of Native app development in (IOS, Android or Windows Phone)
-Knowledge and experience on web servers such as Nginx, Apache HTTP, Jetty, Tomcat, NodeJS etc.
-Good Experience with Linux
-Knowledge and experience with Gradle and/or Maven build tools.
-Experience with Git.
-Github account with lots of own written sample code or documented open source work is a big plus
