Test Engineer

For our client we are currently seeking a Test Engineer to work on test solutions for costumers related to Windows, Mac and Linus.

Requirements/Must haves:
1) Previous testing experience with both Android and iOS. Example: how to install/sideload applications outside of the Play/App Store, how to collect logs and crash reports during and after running tests on a mobile device, and how to take screenshots.

2) Previous testing experience using the javascript console in the course of desktop browser testing and debugging (this is my awkwardly phrased way of saying that I want someone who has desktop browser testing experience, but on more than just a superficial "I have tested UI only" level). Candidate who have only used Firebug on Firefox, but not Chrome´s javascript console or other dev tools, would be fine.

3) Previous experience using Windows, Mac, and Linux OSes, including command line familiarity. In depth knowledge isn´t required, but the candidate is expected to be able to know how to use a terminal, how to navigate a filesystem or run an executable etc

4) General testing experience
* File good bug reports
- Document steps on how to reproduce the issue
- Read stack traces/logs to get some idea of what might be wrong
* Bug management/triage
* Write test cases and test plans (informal or some high level planning is fine)
5) Investigative attitude and autonomous (i.e. try to figure out issues/obstacles on his/her own before asking).

Nice to have:
6) Previous testing experience with realtime audio and video.
7) Previous experience with Wireshark or similar network debugging tools.
8) Previous scripting (shell, python, etc) experience
9) Technical knowledge about the consumer hardware (desktops and laptops) spectrum out there (like CPU and GPU types etc) (i.e. being able to determine a machine is performing worse due to slower CPU/GPU or older camera etc)
