SIEM Security Consultant

As a consultant within our competence area Solutions, more specifically in the area of SIEM solutions you need to be able to handle a number of roles. Assignments will span from coordinating with external and internal parties to performing technical installation and configuration of the systems that are part of our solution. The assignments can also include customization of our service for new types of log sources. The ability to document and communicate our solutions is very important. As our SIEM service is a continuously evolving service it is important that your experience, competence and common sense helps you make independent decisions about how challenges are to be solved.
As a consultant in the Solutions competence team within our Professional Services business you engage with our customers through a well-structured and consultative approach. The engagements range from shorter analysis cases to longer implementation projects. As a part of our Solutions team you advise our customers on design and IT architectural matters from a security perspective. You are well aware of the risks regarding information security and you have a structured approach at hand to guide our customers to risk avoidance. Based on industry specific demands and legal or regulatory demands you design suitable solutions.

Key Responsibilities >
As a Principal Security Consultant your responsibilities will include:

> Coordination with external and internal parties
> Configuration of the systems that are part of our solution
> Customization of our service for new types of log sources
> Contributing to the development of the company and the services provided by us
> Advising our customers on design and IT architectural matters from a security perspective
> Designing suitable solutions based on industry specific demands and legal or regulatory demands
> Have a good understanding of the IT security market place as a whole and the industry that supports it.
> Demonstrate commitment to delivering projects within time and in budget and to a high level of customer satisfaction.
> Actively participate in knowledge sharing with all NTT Com Security technical personnel.
> Participate in pre-sales activities that drive demand for NTT Com Security?s solutions.
> Actively search for opportunities for additional or new consultancy/solutions as part of consulting delivery activities.
> Demonstrate a good knowledge of the services offered by the practice and NTT Com Security overall.
> Demonstrate good skills in the development of customer proposals and liaise with appropriate teams internally in preparation of proposals and answering of tenders.
> As a principal security consultant you assist the director of professional services in the recruitment process. When hiring new members of the practice you act as mentor.
> You provide support and assistance at sales and marketing events, e.g. presentations, customer liaison, etc.
> You maintain and develop relationships with key technical decision makers within large organisations.
> You size, scope and handle resources in projects.

Experience Skills and Qualifications >
As a Senior Security Consultant your skills and qualifications will include:

> Being experienced in different SIEM solutions and in technical areas such as Linux and different network components. Experience with Splunk is an advantage.
> Having a good understanding and experience in the area of IT security, from a technical perspective and a business
