Web Editor at a startup

We are looking for a web editor that will work for a startup. The organisation is a web magazine combined with a social network. The website is free to use and has a unique twist: it gives real money to both the members and to charities. The site is online but only alpha-released, therefor we will send you the web address when you have applied for the job.

You will be a member of a small, committed team, your contribution really makes a difference to the success of the business. You will see your impact every day.

Your work assignments
You feature, edit and publish articles on the website keeping it relevant and interesting. Besides the more editorial work you will work closely to the design and technology development.

Examples of tasks are: Adding new articles to the website, feature articles from our members, work actively with SEO, improve the website and the organisations presentation.

Your profile
You have experience of working with articles and search engine optimization. We prefer that you have some professional training in the field.

We assume you have a good sense of word and image, and easy to express yourself in English. You are interested in photography and Photoshop.

You are a good communicator and will have an overall thinking about the site. You are also independent and easy to work with. We also believe that you are motivated by the good cause of the organisation.
