About our department BU Partners:

BU Partners mission is to expand IST's existing product portfolio and customer offering through partnerships together with successful, innovative and complementary partners to IST. Examples of partnerships we already have established are for example Skolon as a learning resource platform linked to our learn offering, IST Photo Service for the establishment of a B2C business, Conexus for products in professional development, systematic quality work and learning analysis.

During 2016 we face new exciting challenges, as we're being responsible for creating IST´s next generation Learn offering together with Google and Microsoft as platform partners.

About the job:

As a developer in BU Partner you will be working with a variety of different exciting tasks. Everything from how to best integrate innovative partner solutions with IST's product portfolio, to developing the next generation learning offer, which will be the main focus during 2016.

In your role you will work in a small tight team, but still interact with both the other development teams at IST, as well as with developers at our partners. You will report directly to the Head of BU Partners.

We need you to have a broad skillset and competence as a developer, not being afraid of taking on both back-end and front-end challenges. You show great responsibility and have a strong will to deliver smartness. Initially we also believe you need to be able to spend some time in Växjö sitting together with the rest of the team.

Your profile, requirements:

- Experience from RESTful API development and integrations of 3rd party APIs, preferably on the JAVA stack
- Database modelling and development, preferably in Oracle
- Experience of working in an OSGi environment, preferably using Apache Karaf
- Experience from modern web and javascript technologies such as AngularJs, Bootstrap and Sass
- Knowledge of responsive design patterns and media queries

Back-end environment:

The back-end is a RESTful service written in JAVA using the Spring framework togheter with CXF running in an OSGi environment.
