H&M is looking for a Frontend Developer

Are you a Frontend Developer who wants to join in on creating and improving one of the largest fashion sites in the world?

We are looking for a Frontend Developer skilled in HTML, CSS and JavaScript who have the ability to work together with our business to further develop and improve hm.com. As a Frontend Developer you develop different versions of layouts used for A/B testing so your main responsibility will be to give valuable insights and technical guidance which will help us improve hm.com.

In collaboration with business you are responsible for developing and planning the new A/B tests and then coordinate the launches of the tests with other teams in the hm.com maintenance area.

To be successful in this role you are an experienced Frontend Developer preferably with skills in A/B testing and you have the ability to apply these skills in a new context. You are confident in HTML, CSS and JavaScript and genuinely enjoy solving tricky problems. Your responsibilities

The job of an H&M Frontend Developer comes with lots of responsibility - and lots of fun. Your to do-list includes:

- Coding on hm.com (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Planning A/B tests together with the business side
- Estimation and planning in collaboration with requirement analyst and test
- Coding and executing A/B tests
- Support business in various processes and be a partner they can bounce ideas with
- Investigating problems and come up with creative solutions

Your skills

Just like everyone at H&M, we believe you are a social, open, communicative, sales-minded and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism. And your skills include:

- Practical experience from HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery
- Experience from cross browser development
- Good communicating skills in English and Swedish

It´s an extra plus if you have experience from:

- A/B-testing, preferable Optimizely
- Responsive design
- Mobile web, tablet web and app development
- Performance/optimizations/best practices from a web client perspective
- UX and design
- Web sites with high volumes
- iOS and Android simulation environment
- Git or subversion
- Jira
