Exciting times! Relax Gaming has just opened up a studio on Lilla torg in Malmö and we are now putting together a talented team to expand the frontiers of online gaming. Job Summary:

A game is only as good as its underlying mechanics and execution. As a game developer at Relax Gaming, you will create immersive user experiences and deliver awesome casino games that really brings something new to the table. You are motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming and will play an important role when it comes to designing and developing new concepts. You will work closely with Product owners and UI/UX designers, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the game looks as well as how it works.

Our studio will have several game projects running simultaneously so expect the freedom to dynamically work with a wide variety of projects and features as well as contributing to several new and old IPs.

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop games from prototype to finished product
- Develop games using JavaScript, HTML5
- Support and keep released titles up and running

Job Requirements:

- You have completed education or equivalent work experience in software development
- Solid JavaScript knowledge
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience in JavaScript frameworks and HTML5 game engines (e.g. pixi.js, Phaser, react.js, ES6)
- Comfortable using git version control
- You are open minded, keen to learn and gladly share your knowledge with fellow developers
- Passionate about games, with an understanding of game-play mechanics
- Experience from Agile development practices
- You are a positive, self-motivated team player that gladly speaks your mind
- You thrive in a fast paced environment and embrace having many projects running at the same time
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in english

Location:

The Malmö studio is perfectly located on Lilla torg, right in the middle of the beautiful old parts of the city. It?s a five minute walk from the central station and all types of shopping and restaurants can be found right outside our doorstep.
