As part of our journey to simplify and reinvent our IT solutions, we are looking for the best and brightest to join us.

The Capital Impact team in Retail Banking provides group-wide IT solutions that ensure effective use of capital and secure the desired risk appetite within Nordea. We also ensure Nordea's recovery position and minimize losses.

The position we offer

In this role you will work hands-on, using your development and architecture expertise to foresee and solve problems at different levels of detail and complexity. As a member of an agile organization, you will work with many development activities, including architecture, analysis and design.

Initially you will work in a large development program, exchanging several local collateral systems into one Nordic system. This will allow you to build an extensive understanding of the collateral management processes in Nordea, thus securing a smooth transition from program to line organization.

You collaborate closely with stakeholders from across the organisation including business, operations and different development teams. You have the freedom to find the right solutions together with the teams and product owners. The solutions you design and help implement are aligned with our target and transition architectures for our future IT landscape.

From your primary location in Stockholm you will work in an international environment with people from across the Nordics and our offshore location in India. Some travelling should be expected.

The qualifications you need

We are looking for a profile with a developer background and experience of coding in combination with solid experience from agile software development and strong knowledge of agile practices and principles.

Professional skills:

-Experience from many different technologies and platforms including modern platforms based on Java and .NET, service-oriented architecture and also some understanding of mainframe platforms.
-Prior experience with Oracle SOA Suite and OSB (Oracle Service Bus) development will be highly valued.
-Experience from the financial industry is considered an advantage.
-Great at communicating specifications, architecture and design, even for complex systems.
-Fluent in both spoken and written English.
-Good at balancing conflicting requirements to the architecture and find the right approach to move forwards towards the vision.

Personal skills:

-You are a self-starter and make sure you find the information you need to be great at your work.
-Take responsibility and can drive when needed.
-Great team working skills, where you proactively offer support and feedback to colleagues and contribute to a positive and efficient collaboration.
-Easy to work with and you enjoy communication as much as collaboration.
-You don't miss an opportunity for further developing practices and processes, to improve the continuous delivery flow.
-Collaborate easily with others in the team and can take the lead in facilitating and driving decisions on architecture and design of the solutions.
-You easily coordinate the architecture work across the teams and initiatives you are involved with.

Furthermore you master communication and collaboration with many different people across the organization when exploring stakeholder needs.
