Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter:
The Developer will have strong C++, object oriented design and modelling skills and will be able to absorb a complex business domain in a short time, working within an exciting development project. The ideal candidate will have a very strong and in-depth working knowledge of C++ and financial services technology development experience gained in a large corporate environment. They will have an interest and understanding of the workings of financial institutions. This role will be based in Stockholm and reporting directly to the Development Manager. Responsibilities: * Core development of Front Arena front end applications * Graphical user interface development in C++ and Python using Front Arena PRIME and OMNI APIs * Able to produce object oriented designs or enhance and re-factor existing designs with a suitable approach * Translate business requirements into technical design using appropriate methodology * Produce code artefacts to support the code design * Participate in requirements and code handoffs with the other groups in the development lifecycle * Communicate accurate status updates at agreed intervals, including milestone updates, risks and technical challenges * Be part of the bug fix cycle for the issues reported on the released product deliveries Essential skills: * Previous development experience for a financial institution (retail bank, investment bank, insurance, etc.) especially those active in the Asian markets. * Strong experience developing in C++, SQL, Python or other scripting languages. * Proven experience in the following areas: Financial services technology and Order Management * Proven experience from Front Arena development * Good degree in numerate discipline * Knowledge of design patterns * Familiar with relational database design * Intermediate RDBMS knowledge of Oracle or SQL Server * Understanding the impact of the development process on the business * Experience in driving process and technology improvement * Proven experience with calibration in team environment * Fluent in English
