In brief
Nordnet IT is divided into Development and Operations. Development consists of seven (today) development teams and one platform team. The teams are independent, product oriented, agile, full stack teams. The platform team has a supporting role for both dev and infrastructure teams. It supplies the toolchain for development along with frameworks and guidelines for general development by acting as technical experts in both system and runtime design.
We develop on Windows or Mac and Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux in production.

Our aim is to have every team do multiple releases every day and we’re well on our way. To reach the end game of continuous delivery we do need a firm hand setting the direction for automated testing methods, frameworks, tools and environments. You will help teams improve their quality work and solve hard problems, with the end goal of delivering quality fast.

You are passionate about software development and you want to contribute with your experience and expertise. In your work, you are organized, methodical and professional in a way that benefits the team’s working climate and ability to deliver high quality solutions.
As an engineer you:
• Are highly communicative, transparent and a good listener

Your background
You are an expert in continuous delivery, software engineering and have experience of quality assurance work for mission critical systems. Preferably you started out in development before joining the automated QA work.
Most probably you are well founded in the majority of the following:
• Jenkins/Travis/Drone
• Deep insight into testing and automated quality gates
• Junit, Failsafe, Nightwatch, RestAssured
• Database expertise in Oracle & MySQL
• Maven, Gradle and NPM
• Continuous Delivery
You love code and despise SoapUI.
