Senior network technician

JOB/SKILLS
To be successful in the position you have great communication and technical skills. You are able to work with requirement/service definition, analysis and break-down including documentation of use case and characteristics. Also you are able to provide technical information for user documentation of services developed in the projects you will be involved in. Typically services will be provided in huge Datacenters, Corporate Networks and specific backbone solutions - developed and maintained by you and colleagues in our team.

To be considered for this position we expect you to have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or another technical field. You are also experienced in Cisco, Jupiter or Extreme. You have at least 3 years technician experience in medium to large companies/organizations and if possible in an international environment. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. It´s also great if you have knowledge in L2 service provider technologies like Provider Bridge, QinQ and VXLAN. New control plane technologies like EVPN and SDN are already here or coming in the near future so any experiences in those areas is a merit. You can take a leading role in the alignment of multi-site WAN solutions for E2E telecom networks also with security solutions in mind. Interest in telecom is a must. If you don't know the basics of mobile/cellular networks, you will need to learn.
