Responsibilities

Profoto stands on the threshold of a digital transformation. During the first year you will be working with new projects together with our partners, and also take care of necessary upgrades and maintenance on the current platform – profoto.com. Digital will play a huge part in Profoto’s future, so you will hold a key position at the company at lead web developer. You will be responsible to challenge and continuously improve our web services.

Experience

• At least 5 years working experience as a web front-end developer and at least 2 years as lead developer.
• Fluent in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Knowledge of common web standards, frameworks and libraries such as jQuery, Bootstrap, LESS or Sass
• Experience with API integration through the use of HTTP/REST via JSON and AJAX
• Experience from building for different screen sizes and browsers
• Experience from working with common content management systems
• Good understanding of UI/UX
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Good understanding of written and spoken Swedish

Advantageous

• Experience from backend development and/or API integration
• Experience from server side javascript such as nodeJS
• Experience from EPI server / EPI commerce
• Experience from e-commerce projects
• Good understanding of Google tools and frameworks
• Experience working in international environments
• Experience from cross-functional teams and agile working methods

Education

We will give priority to applicants with a relevant bachelor or master degree in IT.

Placement & organization

This position will be based at our headquarters (Profoto AB, Landsvägen 57, Sundbyberg, Sweden) and you will report to the Global Online Manager – Karin Nordqvist.
