Job description
The consultant will be part of a small ICT team (4-5 persons) that are responsible for the technical solutions and infrastructure such as:
· Modernisation of existing infrastructure
· New IT environment
· New offices and locations
The team that the consultant will be part of will over time handle several projects, scope of the projects are one week to a couple of months. The work scope if from handling the requirements, design and build the service to deployment of the service.
Required competence
We are looking for a System Administrator, who has documented competence from
Work experience from:
· Build and test service/solution
o Coding, configuration of software and hardware components
o Test: unit, integration and system testing
Competence around:
· Virtualization techniques including central hosting, clients (Windows, Linux, Fat/Thin)
· Network and application virtualization
· Design skills
· Microsoft products
· Hardware sizing and configuration
· Performance and availability
· Network skills
· Testing and quality assurance
· Security policies
Good understanding of software and systems; applications integration, network communications, and database handling, is necessary.
Used to work according to formal development processes, and have good documentation skills
Good at working independently, well at handling pressure, and with good social skills
Wanted Competence
If you have team leader experience, the role can be combined with team leader tasks
· Project planning, follow-up and reporting.
· Risk management
