Application Operations Manager to global car-company

We are looking for an Application Operations Manager to one of our customers. This position is based in Gothenburg. Initially this is a consultant assignment with Sigma which will lead to an employment with the client after six months.

About the Job
As Application Operations Manager you are in charge for the direct communication with users, coming up with smart solutions, which includes both time and runtime delivers in application management context. Your responsibility will includemore than 20 different applications, however the main responsibility will on the .NET side (Windows). At the moment there are about 10 applications. For this role we are looking for someone who will be the interface between business and IT department. We are looking for a creative person who likes to support and maneuver the team.

Your main responsibilities include:

Responsibility to ensure that applications are up and running Plan and execute changar / deployer Excellent solution understanding Application documentation Good knowledge of application transfer and monitoring Good knowledge of lifecycle management Related process knowledge Solution habits and interface Coordinate maintenance, upgrades and configurations Build up a support organization and formalize the support process Active communicate with super users about planned maintenance, upgrades and configurations Installation, iOS/PC adaptation/differences General technical knowledge of cloud services, integrations and application management Knowledge of one or a few systems; Autodes, Alias, Catia , Maya, Icem Surf, IMA, Octane or Adobe Suite
About You
To enjoy and to be successful in this position, you need to be a socially confident, self-sufficient, and a service minded person. You are strongly motivated by technical challenges and solutions and you understand the IT contribution in a global business environment. You have an IT background and a minimum of one years’ experience. Perhaps you have worked as a third line support technician and now you feel you want to take the next step.
You have deep technical knowledge and can work with people on all levels. Since this is a global company that handles international users and application it’s important that you are fluent in English.

For this role you have the courage to take on challenges and an ability to prioritize. You are organized and can work effectively without direct supervision. You always keep the team members involved in your work and you are not afraid to work independently and cross-functionally in teams in a changing environment.
