Software Developer, IoT and Cloud

Are you a passionate Software Developer with solid experience from IoT (Internet of Things) and cloud solutions, looking for a new and interesting challenge?

Since early 2000 we have supported our clients on a vast number of projects, all over the world. Our consultant pool consists of Swedish and non Swedish consultants within the fields of embedded systems, telecom, IoT, online solutions and application development. Now we are looking for new candidates to come work with us as consultants, on-site with our customers in Sweden.

You are a passionate and innovative software developer with experience from IoT and IoT platforms. You will be part of an highly experienced team working with planning, design, implementation and verification of a generic IoT platform. The assignment requires previous experience from developing cloud services for the Z-wave or Zig-bee since the assignment mainly involves creating full support for these standards in a generic IoT platform. The environment is mainly Linux and Python while experience from & understanding of embedded is meriting.

Requested competence (please make sure this is documented in your CV):
*) BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience
*) Professional and documented Linux development skills
*) Professional and documented Python programming skills
*) Experience from IoT platforms and IoT protocols
*) Experience from scalable systems and distributed databases
*) Experience from Z-wave and/or Zig-Bee
*) Good communication skills and a team player
*) Innovative, enthusiastic and a self-driven problem solver, eager to learn
*) Good English

Start: Q4 2016.
Duration: 12-24 months in site in Sweden, with a high probability for extension.
Extent: Full-time, 40h/week. Paid overtime can be requested by the customer.
Compensation: Negotiable. We offer a competitive salary, primarily in the form of a longterm employment and according to Swedish standards; governmental pension plan, five weeks paid vacation, iPad/laptop, mobile phone with data plan subscription, priority medical care insurance, health care insurance, income level insurance, work liability insurance, language course support, sports activity contribution. Paid transfer to Sweden including registered partner and children. When applicable, family members will get permit to live and work in Sweden.
For Schengen-citizens, there is also an option to undertake the assignment as a subcontractor to Telescope.
