About the Job
We're looking for an experienced Developer with a passion for mobile game development. Your
contribution will reach out to millions of our players and make a difference to their experience
when playing our games .
You'll be part of a small but powerful team of both Android and iOS developers where the
enthusiasm for creating games that people love to play is the glue that holds them together. We
think you thrive in an agile working environment and that you can handle change like a
champion.
About the Requirements (for a Great Candidate)
We think you are an insatiable learner who constantly seeks out ways to expand your technical
know-how. If others describe you as a self-starter, with an ability to pick up skills and knowledge
easily, especially in areas where you're not so well versed, we think you'll be a great fit for us.
We also think you'll like working with us if you are a team player at heart, and love the
start-up/tech environment. We hope to see your passion mirrored in at least a couple of pet
projects or contributions to open source projects.
In addition, you also have the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience from game development
- Good knowledge in game architecture and an ability to skillfully design game systems
and features
- Excellent communication skills with a preference for ELI5-ng technical solutions and
problem domains
- Git or other DVCS software proficiency
- Very good English skills, both orally and written.
About the Desirables (for an Awesome Candidate)
- At least 1 year of experience from game development for either Android, iOS or
Windows Phone
- A preference for data-oriented design
- Experience from working with GLSL or similar shader language(s)
- Experience from developing any of the following:
- Tooling (such as game editors)
- Network programming for real-time games
- Multi-threading w.r.t. game development
