Tester (Södertälje,Sweden)

DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a tester that will work within a project called SPORT (Sales Portal). The project is to create our next generation sales and ordering tool for our customers products. The customers sales staff can quote, sell, and monitor their orders through SPORT. Sport is a web based solution.

WORK TASK

Test automation of web services mainly using Soap UI? Planning, implementation and execution of exploratory testing.
Perform manual system tests on multiple systems.
Preparation of test data, test environments.
Integration tests

For software development, we work according to Lean Customers Software Development Process. Specific for testing, we use Jira for issue tracking. We are also striving to work more and more according to agile software development processes.
REQUIREMENT:

We are looking for someone who has a university degree in IT and worked for some years with testing and focus on web application testing. Technical knowledge is required and web service testing and test automation experience is a bonus. Experience from our client?s Order to Deliver process is valuable. The person should have a good understanding of the system development lifecycle.

We think the person has been working with test in agile environments and used methods such as Scrum or Kanban.

Worked 3-5 years within the test area
Coordinate test data and test environments
Experience testing
Database knowledge
Experience of web service testing and or test automation
Previous experience from setting up test automation framework.
Experience with agile way of working
Can work in a team
Fluent in English, both oral and in writing
Integrations

Tools the project use:
JIRA
Selenium
SOAP UI
Jenkins

The person we are looking for should have a positive mindset, be structured and flexible with focus on delivery on time with high quality. The person should also be positive to active participation in our clients internal test improvement groups where software testing knowledge and experiences are shared among like-minded colleagues

LOCATION:
Södertälje, Sweden

DURATION:
November 2014 with a 3 month rolling contract
