Frontend Developer

About the role

iControl is looking for an amazing Web Developer to help us build the future faster.
Our users are building some of the most amazing construction projects, and our platform is a central information point.
As a Web Developer, you will tackle difficult and interesting challenges for the web.  

Things like:
* Building near real-time collaboration and markup for construction drawings
* Building slick and responsive UI that can handle millions of user generated data points (like photos and annotations)
* Replacing Excel workflows with simple, powerful tools

About You:
* Have at least 2 years of web experience
* Have experience building single page applications with an MV* javascript framework
* Understand UX design principles
* Native English speaker or similar level of proficiency speaking and writing English.
* Have a solid understanding of CSS and how to use it to bring designs to life
* Have experience working closely with the design team to add the right amount of polish
* Have the passion and dedication to write maintainable, reliable code
* Love solving tricky problems
* Team player - You love to teach others about cool new tricks you learned and absorb tips and tricks from your team.

Site managers use iControl to take note of issues using the blueprints and then quickly communicate with subcontractors who easily can report back using their smartphone or computer.

After having listened to the challenges of his family who running a company doing building inspections, the company was founded in 2012 by Alexander Selling.
It all started with an app for inspectors called iSpect.
iSpect was developed with the help of the Swedish construction development fund SBUF and key players in the Swedish Construction industry: NCC, Skanska and PEAB.

The vision is to build the future by creating beautiful and intuitive software solutions for the $5 trillion construction industry.
Despite its size the industry is stuck in the past.
We challenge this by creating solutions that automate the trivial tasks surrounding on-site collaboration.
