Web Developer

The role as web developer at Screen Interaction involves working in projects for our clients and delivering a row of different products. The work can be located at our clients site as well as in-house at our office in Kista.

Responsibilities and duties:

Participate in estimating, planning and prioritization of new projects
Participate in meetings with customers
Working closely with visual designers, interaction designers and project managers
Work to maximize usability and customer benefits to the product/solution.
Develop responsive websites

Who are you?

We believe you have roughly 3 years experience as a web developer and preferably a good knowledge with responsive interfaces. We believe you?re well suited if you have experience in a senior or lead position, with end delivery responsibilities, within a project team for example. In the past years you?ve coached other developers and worked in an Agile environment.

Knowledge and experience:

Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
Some knowledge of backend languages like PHP, Ruby, Java or Python
Experience using responsive frameworks such as Foundation or Bootstrap
Good sense of aesthetics and ?pretty? websites
Experience of implementing traffic analysis (ex Google Analytics)
Experience of javascript frameworks such as React, Ember or Angular
Experience of responsive web development
Experience of database development, often both SQL and NoSQL
Experience of working with version control such as Git or SVN
Experience of working in large projects
Understanding of Agile methodology and professional experience in agile projects
Ability to adapt to short sprint cycles (2-4 weeks) and experience of the complete cycles from design to deployment
Experience of Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration
Experience of static analysis and code analysis
Experience of automated, technical and functional tests
Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
