15268 - Solution Architect Radio Access Network

The Global Competence Hub is further expanding it's operations in Sweden to provide increased global coverage of senior competence & expertise, as well as supporting new product and service introduction. To facilitate this growth we are looking to identify and hire a number of highly motivated and experienced (telecom's) Solutions Architects in the areas of Radio Access Networks. Multiple positions are available in a range of service product areas.

The Radio Access Network group is a centre of excellence for consulting skills for advanced wireless networks (focus towards WCDMA, HSPA and LTE). This role entails a high level of interaction with internal teams as well as customers. A critical pre-requisite of these highly visible and senior roles is the willingness to travel and work internationally in line with business requirements. The group supports Ericsson companies and customers globally with expertise in the following areas:

- Radio Network Design
- Radio Network Performance Optimization
- Implementation and trials of new Radio Network Features & Technologies
- Radio Network Audits (e.g. Smartphone Audits)

Reporting to the CD RAN, LTE/WRAN Sub Domain Manager, responsibilities for these roles include (but are not limited to):
- Act in the Solution Architect Role in both Pre-Sales & Delivery phases of a customer engagement
- Leading the solution analysis, solution design (and where required) leading technical teams
- Taking the technical lead to secure the professional delivery of solutions (globally)
- Managing customer requirements and expectations through to the handover stage
- Managing constant changes in scope
- Provide and drive solutions, covering several domains and layers in the customer network
- Display leadership with respect to Ericsson resources, third party suppliers and contractors.
- Sell competitive products/services solutions through a consultative approach, focusing on customer needs
- Act as a role model and mentor for less experienced members of the team
- Match our customer requirements to Ericsson?s Services & Product offerings
- Drive internal best practice, structured assets, product & services readiness towards Regions & GSCs

These roles are most likely to be suited to experienced technical persons with end-to-end technical knowledge in the
following areas:

- LTE Technology
- WRAN Technology
