PCG Clinical Services AB is hiring a Senior SAS programmer with CDISC standards expertise

PCG Clinical Services AB is a Scandinavian full-service CRO with the main office located in Uppsala, Sweden. The company was founded in 2003 and has expanded continuously since then; we are today more than 60 employees. Our capabilities range from early study advice through execution of Phase I to Phase IV trials, supported by our flexible global partner network. We offer services within project management, data management including expertise within the EDC system Viedoc(TM), biostatistics, medical writing and monitoring.

We are strengthening our organization by recruiting a senior SAS programmer, with CDISC expertise, especially with SDTM, to our office in Uppsala. Alternative locations can be discussed with the right candidate.

In this role you will be developing and setting up our procedures for mapping study data to the SDTM data structure. This includes the development of transformation definitions, set-up of programs for creating SDTM datasets, standards conformance checks, define.xml creation, annotation of CRFs vs. SDTM etc.

To qualify for this role, you should have previous experience from the pharmaceutical industry and a university degree in computer science, programming or natural sciences. Excellent understanding of clinical databases, data interchange and standards is a requirement. Further, extensive practical experience of SDTM is mandatory and knowledge/experience of additional CDISC standards, such as CDASH and ADaM, as well as experience of building and maintaining standard libraries is a major advantage.

Since the majority of our clients are international you must have excellent skills in both written and spoken English.

You will lead the development and support the implementation of new methods and processes and therefore will focus on both details and the big picture.
