Senior Product UI Designer

We are looking for a Senior Product UI Designer to join the Viaplay Product Design Team.

What we want you to do
Working with designing the user experience of the multi-platform Viaplay product, you would join a team of UX-Designers, UI-Designers, Copywriters and User Researchers, all driven by user insights, working in a collaborative Design Processes and a friendly atmosphere. You will work together with the Team, but also Developers, Product Owners and various stakeholders within the company.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong portfolio that includes both a diversity of digital products and recognizable brand work. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about pushing the boundaries of digital products, is comfortable exploring technical feasibility of ideas, has solid experience in cross-platform design approach and wants to take part in defining the TV experience of tomorrow.

What we ask of you
The role will focus on the holistic visual experience of the Viaplay product, working with the cross platform framework and supporting platform designers in aligning around the Viaplay experience. The role will also own the Big Screen Experience, including our Smart TV and Game Console apps. You will work with both cutting edge concepts as well as day-to-day feature improvements, and it will all provide lots of challenges and fun.

- Minimum 5 years of experience of User Interface Design and User Experience Design
- Documented experience working with Design systems, responsive design frameworks and interactive prototypes
- Strong focus on user-centric design process, structural design principles and easy-to-use functionality
- A Creative Technologist mindset with ability to understand and to some degree execute code
- Experience with designing content discovery driven products, such as video services, e-commerce or editorial products
- Comfortable around data driven insights and a/b-test driven development
- Experience with brand identity definition and cross platform design
- A passion for creating Design systems and Principles framework
- A good attitude, sense of humor and ability to work humbly with others in a creative team environment
- Experience with designing Big Screen and remote controlled interfaces is a huge bonus.
