Academic Work is on behalf of our client Atlas Copco looking for a Interaction Designer.

This recruitment process is conducted by Academic Work, and the request from Atlas Copco Industrial Technique is that all questions regarding the position is handled by Academic Work. Chosen candidates will meet with HR and recruiting Manager at Atlas Copco directly.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As an Interaction Designer, you’ll be part in our UX-team and focus on defining what our users need, and how to give them the best and most effective, as well as elegant, solution. Your passion for user experience combined with your pragmatism will give you the right foundation for continuing and completing our on-going UI design and implementation efforts.

Your main focus will be to create wireframes and detailed process flows, based on our user research studies and mock-ups with annotations. Working in close collaborations with teams of developers, implementing your design in our software. Other tasks will involve setting up and analysing project-specific usability testing procedures. As part of a truly global company you will get the chance to further develop your knowledge and create professional networks.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
You need a minimum of three years’ experience as well as familiarity with various prototyping tools. You combine this with knowledge of best practices within user experience and existing interaction patterns. We expect your portfolio to show more than one of the following; browser based applications, desktop based applications, interfaces designed for mobile contexts, touch interfaces or embedded systems.

To be successful in this role, you need a true passion for computer/human interfaces. You must be comfortable working closely with visual designers and software developers in agile development processes. With a keen eye for details combined with a strong focus on organization, logic combined with analytical skills, you constantly strive to learn more within your field. You have the ability to continue building solutions within an already established design. Other great assets for this position are great communication and presentation skills, as well as a desire to travel in work.
