The Group Security team is embarking on a mission of rapid maturity and require a highly motivated and talented cyber security expert to help guide us on this journey. The Group Security team operates out of Stockholm and is responsible for securing the Unibet Group and its assets.

We are searching for that certain someone who is not satisfied in just identifying vulnerabilities, but instead likes to understand the exploitability, how to think like the adversary, and most importantly how to defend against them. You will have a real personal passion for security (across a broad range of domains), technology and an insatiable lust to develop further as a security expert.

Part of the journey toward greater security maturity will mean that you will be required to be self-autonomous and confident at developing and delivering continuous improvement projects across a very broad range of areas. As such, you may come from a variety of backgrounds (e.g. SOC analyst/operator, pentester, IT security engineer, forensic investigator, cybersec resilience tester, etc.).

Finally, we require a real team player. Someone who enjoys teaching (and learning), who enjoys engaging the organisation to be as passionate about security as we are, and who likes to work in a highly collaboratively environment.

Key accountabilities of this role are
Lead and assist in the evaluation, architecture, design, planning, implementation, and support of security solutions.
Subject matter expert for Security Group advisory service (e.g. for the development/procurement of new solutions, general security enquiries)
Assist in the conduct of internal investigations that pertain to cyber security matters.

Drive improvement projects which will further enhance the current security controls, procedures and processes.
Be an active player in the security awareness programme, the security development champion programme, and the security liaison network.
Build and maintain a network within the organisation through travel to other Unibet offices in Europe (average 2-3 per quarter).

We're looking for someone with the following skills, knowledge and experience

Experience is essential but time in an organisation is not. What is critical is that you can demonstrate that you are an expert, and that you are able to shape our strategic direction for security within the organisation. It is likely you have been a cyber security specialist for medium to large organisations for a minimum of 3 years, and 5+ years in the field of information security, however we encourage you to apply if you can demonstrate your competency.
You will have a strong understanding of:
Security industry standards and leading practices, specifically ISO 271001, PCI, OWASP, NIST
Network, server and middleware platforms, including virtualization and cloud technologies.

Directory, identity, authentication, and access management technologies (e.g., AD, LDAP, SSO, MFA, IdP, SAML, SPNEGO, X.509 etc.).
Security technologies, solutions, and tools (e.g. SIEM, AV, port scanners, vulnerability scanners, protocol analysers etc.).
Operational and security processes/controls (e.g., vulnerability management, patch management, configuration management, access management, etc.).
Experience with programming and scripting languages (e.g., PHP, Java, Perl, Python etc.).
