2D Artist for Games Studio

Our client is an award-winning game development studio operating in the free2play and online gambling space. The company is growing rapidly and we are now looking for a skilled 2D Artist to join their talented team.

The Job

As a 2D Artist, you will be part of a tightly-knit and experienced games studio with around 40 people, located in the heart of Stockholm. You will be offered a creative and challenging role in an environment that is continuously evolving.

You will work with everything from visualizing early game ideas, to producing the final artwork used in games. You will be a central part in the team, and your contribution will make a true difference for the design and quality of the games.

Skills & Experience

You are/have:

Good at creating appealing characters and backgrounds in semi realistic 2D
Very good at rendering artwork with a great finish
Good with diverse subject matters and art styles
Keen eye for color harmonies, lighting and materials
Comfortable with creating artwork that works well in icons and symbols
Driven, creative and organised
Preferably experience working with game graphics

Nice to haves:

Experience with effects and animation (After Effects, Particular)
Experience with 3D modelling, texturing, lighting and rendering
Experience with Logotype Design
Experience with UX Design
