Overview

Multimedia Telephony Application Server (MTAS) and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) are mandatory products in Ericsson's Voice Over LTE and Multimedia telephony solution. Moving to 4G/LTE and beyond, the number of customers and active subscribers using MTAS is growing rapidly. IMS offers a standardized way to deliver convenient IP-based consumer and enterprise services to fixed, mobile and cable community - enabled by one common core and control.

It is the cornerstone of the evolution of current networks to a single, all-IP based network where all types of services (4G/LTE, messaging, telephony, etc.) and media (voice, video, pictures, text etc.) can be integrated into a single user experience. We are located in Kista close to the Ericsson headquarter office.

We work in X-functional teams where everyone is flexible to perform several tasks (design, function test, system test and system management) to develop features in the most efficient way.

Job description

We are looking for experienced SW developers with a focus on system test area who will be working with the MTAS verification & test automation using TTCN as the programming language. You should be genuinely interested in all aspects of software testing. Good understanding of contiuous integration and continuous delivery process with the test automation as a base.

Over time we expect you to take on several roles within the team where you will be using C++ or Java as the programming language.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

- System test case execution and analysis
- Creation new traffic scenarios using SIPp and TitanSim
- Implement automated system test cases
- Perform trouble shooting and customer support
- Drive continuous improvements of products and processes

Qualifications:

- M.Sc in Computer Science or the equivalent level of knowledge
English Skills
- Test skills: test design, test automation and trouble shooting
- Programming languages: TTCN, scripting languages, C++, Java
- Development Environment: Linux, TSP/Dicos

The following experience are considered as merits:

- Domain Knowledge: Protocol implementation and testing, IMS, SIP. Voice over IP, Diameter, SS7
