Your Next Challenge
Hi, my name is Jan Guhrés and I am looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist. It is a role where you will have the responsibility to coordinate our Data Warehouse activities from a business perspective. This means working with other business teams and IT to prioritize backlog activities, consolidate legacy warehouses and data flows, and increase our use of structured data overall. You prioritize our activities to maximize the value from our Data Warehouse. All in all, this is a role where you will combine your drive to deliver on planned activities with great networking skills and a solid business understanding.

Your new team and leader
Telia Company has recently established a new team for analytics, and we are one important part of that team. Part of our responsibility is to feed relevant analytical data to the rest of the analytics organization, as well as to the rest of Telia Company. The other main part of our responsibility is to work together with IT and make sure we work together on those tasks that are most important and drive the highest business value. We also have a strategic focus, identifying missing capabilities and future data need.

I have been with Telia Company less than two years. My impression is that Telia is a company that is really serious in its ambition to become data driven, and to use data as a driver in all processes. Our team is a crucial part of what makes this happen. Both these parts appeal to me, as I too believe that data can be used to make a real difference, and I like to be a part in making this change happen.

What about You
You are likely have extensive knowledge of a Telco operator, with a formal degree in Business/Economics or Engineering. You have a solid experience in several Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse tools, are familiar with different Data Warehouse methodologies, and have a background either as a Data Warehouse Architect or Project Leader. Your tool knowledge makes it possible for you to not only choose the right tool for the right task, but you can also be hands-on in the tool if needed. You are used to handling many simultaneous initiatives while keeping focus on the end goal.
