Your role
We’re looking for experienced Software Engineering team leads experienced in Infrastructure Automation to lead our Infrastructure team in Stockholm and to help us further evolve our infrastructure to support a rapid growth of users and global expansion. The objective for the infrastructure team is to ensure scalability, performance and high availability of our services and to help other teams to increase their productivity by providing a Platform-as-a-Service to the development teams. If you like hands on work as well as being the point of reference for your colleagues this might be the position for you.
Responsibilities
- Team coordination and support in decision making processes.
- Day to day hands on work responsibilities related to design and development of our global distribution system.
- Support team members and become their point of reference technically and organizationally.
- Interface with other development teams and the operation team in order to negotiate technical solutions and guarantee a high level of efficiency of our Infrastructure.
- Collaborate with and help people inside and outside of the team.
- Transfer business knowledge from stakeholders to the team.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with software development and system operations
- Team lead experience
- Knowledge and experience with infrastructure automation
- Experience in start up environments
- Interpersonal skills
- Negotiation and coordination skills
- Good understanding of system design, data structures and algorithms
- Interest in working with distributed, fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with network programming, especially on *nix platforms
- Knowledge of multiple programming languages
- Experience with load balancers, proxies and caches, such as HAProxy, Nginx, Varnish
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS and GCP
- Interest in test automation, including load testing
