Job Description

Gears of Leo is growing in a very rapid pace and we have found ourselves in need of a brilliant Senior UI Designer who wants to develop tomorrow's best gaming experience. As our next Senior UI designer you will work closely with and within one of our product development teams as well as cross-functionally with the design team to ensure we maintain highest standards for the UI Design. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with exceptional growth. The position can be located in any of our Swedish offices (Stockholm, Växjö or Västerås)

Responsibilities

You understand the strengths and limitations of web as well as mobile platforms, and understand the business logic of digital services. Most of all, you understand the users and how stunning, flawless, user interfaces are created. You also have a confident way of driving the design process and no problems leading a team of designers, as well as reasoning with the rest of the development team. Our next key player will have great influence within the organisation and be able to affect how we do things and what we deliver. You will be responsible for developing exciting new features to enhance the user experience. As our new team member you will be working in one of our multi-disciplinary product teams consisting of around 10 talented colleagues. You will collaborate across teams to create a unified product design and work processes.

You will also:

• Conduct feedback sessions with co workers

• Be responsible for the quality of product design

• Produce and manage a clear design vision

• Take ownership of your work and follow up on the final implementation

• Communicate concepts and ideas using tools, such as wireframes, prototypes etc.

• Be up for regular traveling between our offices in Sweden and Malta

• Stay on top of the latest trends, dare to experiment and challenge current solutions

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience from working with UI

• At least 2 years in a senior position (e.g. in an Art Director role)

• Passion for details

• A strong portfolio

• Super productive in a fast-paced environment

• You know how to make analysis of the target audience

• Ability to lead design and collaborate with cross-functional teammates

Really good merits if you have:

• Experience in setting up metrics and tracking KPIs

• Experience in creating hi-fi prototypes

• Experience in copywriting

• A technical background with some basic HTML, CSS and Javascript skills

• Experience from online gaming, online commerce and/or online entertainment
