POSITION OVERVIEW
This person will be a key member of the Technology team and will be focused on building the next generation of our platform for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) research, working with the underlying web services and the front-ends of applications for researchers inside the company and for our clients.
This person will be an experienced and creative .NET developer who embraces agile and test driven development. As a member of a global team, this person will need to develop and maintain productive working relationships with teams across geographic regions, and be highly effective at managing, motivating and leveraging teams, resources and relationships.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create and maintain Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) research platform using .NET, focusing both on web services and front-end development
• Design and maintain the test framework using test-driven development principles
• Work with Product Management and Business teams to identify new ideas and opportunities that can generate revenue and help to build requirements for them.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications for the development teams. Scope out iterations using Agile Development principle.
• Support the business teams with application issues and queries in Production.

• Strong attention to detail.
• At least 3 years relevant experience gained within a demanding software development environment where scalability, flexibility, and availability are crucial to the business
• At least 3 years’ experience with C# and the .NET framework and with modern web development on the Microsoft platform
• Experience with test driven development
• Experience with agile development
• Experience with MVVM Frameworks for the web, like Aurelia / Durandal / AngularJS
• Knowledge of Typescript or Javascript
• Knowledge of mathematics, data types, and algorithms
• Familiarity with SOLID, DRY, and KISS principles
• Familiarity with REST APIs, ideally with ASP.NET Web API
• Solid technical solutions background and proven, large scale product development skills
• Ability to identify and proactively identify architectural weaknesses and recommend solutions
• Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Swedish can be considered as an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• A genuine interest in user experience and graphical design is not required but appreciated
