Overview
SCA IT Services is looking for an Infrastructure Developer to maintain and support the MS SQL Database platform for SCA.
This position is part of the Infrastructure Services, Platform Management Microsoft team, which is responsible for the infrastructure and integration of a flora of applications and systems used by SCA globally and across all sites, such as Exchange, Skype, CRM B2B (MS Dynamics), CRM B2C (CAS), MS SQL, SharePoint, Web sites and Web applications. You share responsibility for all support, operations and development in this area. The team goal for this position is to ensure that the application infrastructure on the Microsoft platform is set-up, configured, operated and maintained in an optimal way for SCA. You provide support, research and development of new technology and tools to support the application infrastructure and share this information within your team as well as among our OneIT Organization.
The position is located in Gothenburg and reports to the IT Manager, Platform Manager Microsoft.

Main Tasks
Installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance and administration of MS SQL servers and clusters
Troubleshooting and performance tuning of MS SQL Server instances in cooperation with the application team
Design and roadmaps for the MS SQL Server environment
Responsible for the technology lifecycle management including capacity planning and performance management for the MS SQL Server platform
Participating in IT projects with the ability to take the technical lead
Coordinate and closely cooperate with other Infrastructure Services employees, the Application teams and the SCA business

Key Competencies
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent job experience
Expertise in relational database engines and SQL programming
Minimum 5 years of experience in database administration
Deep knowledge and experience in MS SQL Server
Knowledge and experience in Windows Server and Windows Cluster
Knowledge and experience in monitoring and maintaining applications in a Windows Hosting environment
Fluent in English

Ability to work in an international environment across multiple business needs and in a true virtual team
Excellent knowledge of Technical Services, Solutions, and products related to this position
Strong interpersonal skills
You should have good communication skills and help build an open environment
Attention to detail, follow through, and ability to prioritize quickly are necessary
You should be customer driven with a strong business and service orientation.
