Your role
In your role as a system engineer within the team IT infrastructure, you will be responsible for continuously improving and maintaining our storage, servers and backup all the way from the hardware up to the operating system. Together with the team you will focus on automation and virtualisation to be able to handle tomorrow's workloads. As a team we are forward leaning and always looking at new technologies to help us improve. Our experts within network will be your best friends and together you will ensure that our systems are always up and running and that our development teams can work at full speed. The position includes on call duty.
IT Infrastructures belong, together with IT Support, Business systems and Database to IT Operations. Together we manage all of Nordnet's IT systems from client desktop's to our most critical trading servers. You will work together with our development teams which are independent, product oriented, agile, full stack teams including product owners, developers, QA and system engineers. Our development environment is Windows, Mac and Linux. Our test and production environments are Red Hat Linux.

You have experience and expertise as system engineer.
As a system engineer you:

Background
You are well founded in the following:
• Linux (expert level).
• Virtualisation
• Backup
• Python
• Operational experience, including 24/7 critical applications
• SAN
Good to have
• Network skills
• Experience from banking and finance
Language skills
Fluent in English and Swedish is mandatory
