Studentwork Sharper is now looking for a Test Developer on behalf of Labatus. Labatus is a test and qualification center for digital media devices. Their background is from test of Set Top Boxes, TV sets and Conditional Access systems, however nowadays they also have other assignments like testing of video applications for mobile platforms.
Labatus are a close partner to the leading manufacturers of multimedia devices. They perform tests for operators and middleware vendors. Their testing department consists of 17 employees. You will get the opportunity to work and develop within the TV and multimedia industry and building up a unique expertise. The testing of products is carried out both in house and at customer sites. http://www.labatus.com.
Worktasks
Labatus is expanding out Automatic test and are in need of test developer. As a test developer at Labatus you will work with our development team in creating and implementing test cases using our automated Robot equipment from Witbe.

Your profile
Appropriate educational background is M.Sc or B.Sc engineer with a great interest for test and test development if you have experience of test automation it is a great advantage. As a person you are social and communicative with god team skills.
Except for the competence criteria below we look at a person that will fit in to our test team this means we would like you to be friendly, helping and result oriented.
We are looking for SW Test Developers with
• Good computer skills and experience working with test
• Experienced in scripting languages, preferably JavaScript and/or Python
• Knowledge in automated test
• Experience using version control (Git, SVN etc) and test tools (Bugzilla, TestLink)
• Knowledge in software development and a C++ programming
• It is an advantage if you are ISTQB certified
