Role Summary/Purpose
We are looking for a combined Software Test Lead and Test Engineer within the Life Sciences business. As a Software Test Engineer at GE Healthcare you will be a part of a highly skilled and talented global team.
Essential Responsibilities
As a Test lead you will
be responsible for the test methodology/test strategies and test plans used in our software related projects
analyze requirements, project plans and technologies used in order to develop best possible test approach.
actively plan and lead ongoing test activities
provide consolidated status reports for defects and test case execution progress with respect to plan
support the software team with setting up test instruments and PC's
support the software team in developing new ways of working regarding test automation, requierments handling, documentation and similair.
As a Software Tester you will
mainly perform black Box testing but also support software developers with unit and integration testing.
work closely with fellow team members to diagnose areas of quality weakness in the system and formulate improvement plan
lead and guide Developers et. al. on testing

Qualifications:
B.Sc. degree with relevant technical software focus, or comparable level of competence.
Minimum some years' experience in the software quality assurance area including knowledge in commonlly used agile and test tools: Test management tools like HPQC/ALM, Agile tools like Rally (CA Tech), Jira or equivilent
Experience in Agile/SCRUM software development
English and Swedish (written and spoken)
Open-minded with a positive can-do attitude, always with a high level of integrity
Balanced between delivery, creativity and quality control
Good at personal planning and committed to delivery
A team player
Desired Characteristics
ISTQB certificate
Experience in testing of products within the Life Sciences area
Experience in behavior-driven development and Test-driven development, BDD and TDD
Experience in Test automation
Knowledge of C# and scripting
Experience in Web based testing
Excellent communication and analytic skills
Energetic and self-motivated with the ability to quickly embrace and understand new technologies
Strong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information, understand complex topics
Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and produce high quality products
