Senior Developer - Content Operations

The Senior Developer for Content Operations reports to the CTO and will work directly with the Content Manager to deliver on priorities for the infrastructure needed to support ongoing and strategic content initiatives. They will develop, oversee, and provide advisement on areas of web scraping and content acquisition in coordination with the extended content operations team both in-house as well as global outsourcers. This role requires someone who loves solving issues around scraping, data processing, storage, and scalability, as well as someone who enjoys both development and being part of a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage daily tasks associated content priorities for the team with global market timelines
• Respond to Sales requests for feasibility on content acquisition from new clients
• Investigate and develop solutions for scalability on dynamic and static content sets, custom scraping libraries, individual scrapers
• Maintain integrity of the custom library in use
• Onboard/train new members of the team

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent in English; Swedish (great but not required)
• Great communication skills
• Existing permission to work in Sweden
• B.S. Computer Science or similar
• Has worked on major scraping/web crawling projects as a Senior Developer
• Experienced in working with PHP, XPath, Regex
• Added Bonus: Has worked in the auction industry
