Senior UI / Frontend developer

We are searching for a colleague that can beautify Promote while coding new functions and features, and improving existing ones. The focus is on whether the interactions, process, flow, and overall experience of the application works for the end user. We are also initiating a big project with the goal to make the current product fully mobile responsive which you will responsible for selecting and implement the technology stack for.

You'll be responsible for the user interface of our clients' web applications. As a UI developer, you are responsible for technical decisions and peer reviews concerning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You ensure that our UIs are as consistent, good looking and manageable as the code that supports it.

Together with your peers, you will be responsible for the technical design, implementation and code quality of the features you are assigned to work on.

Main tasks:
-Design, code, test, and document rails applications
-Review code
-Add tests to code and write testable code
-Lead client meetings to capture business requirements
-Coach and teach the other team members about frontend strategies
-Present your work internally and to client stakeholders

You are a Senior UI / Frontend developer (minimum 5yrs experience but preferably longer) with experience of developing business critical web application with high requirements on excellence and usability. It's not a mandatory requirement but if you have experience of different Javscript frontend libraries such as Bootstrap, Angular or React etc. it is a big advantage. We also think that you are the person that like to work together in a dynamic team with a curious, ego-less and solution oriented approach.

-Understanding of user experience graphic design
-Deep knowledge of coding for browsers; HTML, CSS and JavaScript
-Understanding of jQuery, CoffeeScript, SASS
-Knowledge of Linux/Unix tools and utilities
-Basic knowledge about how web servers operate
-Experience of building responsive applications and APIs
-Fluent in English
-Business-minded: ability to think about the result, and not only the process
-Bonus points: experience in agile development processes
